Application: Measures the body's temperature by detecting the thermal radiation from the forehead.
Key Points for Accurate Use
When measuring body temperature: Hold the thermometer perpendicular to the forehead (above the center of the eyebrows). Ensure no hair is covering the measurement area. Keep a distance of within 3 cm from the forehead. Do not make direct contact.
When coming from a different temperature environment: Stay in the measurement environment for at least 5 minutes until the ambient temperature stabilizes before measuring to avoid inaccurate results.
If the forehead is hot due to fever: Using cold compresses or removing cold objects will lower the reading. Avoid measuring under these conditions.
When the thermometer is moved from a significantly different temperature environment: Allow it to acclimate for 20 minutes in the measurement environment before use.
Ensure a stable surrounding environment: Avoid measuring in front of fans, air conditioning outlets, or other windy areas.
Do not use the product in direct sunlight.
Measure about three times, with 3-5 seconds between each measurement, and use the highest reading.
