DED-22007 Pharmaceutical Grade White Petroleum Jelly
DED-22007 Pharmaceutical Grade White Petroleum Jelly
Product Description Petroleum jelly, also known as petrolatum, is a semi-liquid mixture of alkanes obtained through the distillation of petroleum. Natural petroleum jelly is derived from heavy paraffin oil and other concentrated petroleum residues, while synthetic petroleum jelly is made by thickening mineral oil with pure ceresin or paraffin. It has a mineral oil scent but lacks the smell of kerosene. It is used as a raw material for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics and can also be used for machinery lubrication.
Pharmaceutical grade petroleum jelly is based on twice-hydrogenated mineral oil, refined according to the standards of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia.
Our series of products are developed and refined using Sinopec's twice-hydrogenation technology.
