GBX-55009 UV Radiation Crosslinked Polyethylene Cable Material
GBX-55009UV Radiation Crosslinked Polyethylene Cable Material
Product Description GBX-55009UV Radiation Crosslinked Polyethylene Cable Material is made by adding crosslinking agents, antioxidants, and other additives to polyethylene resin, then pelletizing the mixture. This product leverages the transparent properties of molten polyethylene resin. During the heating and extrusion process, UV radiation is applied to the material, initiating crosslinking through photosensitizers to form free radicals. These free radicals promote the formation of macromolecular free radicals in polyethylene, which bond together to create crosslinked polyethylene insulation material. This process is more economical and convenient.
Storage and Transportation During transportation, avoid exposure to sunlight, rain, and immersion in water. Store in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse at temperatures below 48°C. The shelf life is 6 months, and once opened, the product must be used within 8 hours, avoiding direct exposure to light.
