  • Surface Preparation

All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Before coating, surfaces should be evaluated and prepared according to ISO 8504:2000 standards. Sandblasting to Sa2½ grade with a surface roughness of 40-75 µm is required. Prior to rust removal, oil, welding spatter, and rough edges should be cleaned, and weld seams should be ground. If the coated film is mechanically damaged and localized rust appears, local sandblasting to Sa2½ or power tool rust removal to St3 grade is required for local repairs. If the old coating shows chalking or zinc salts, these contaminants should be removed before applying an intermediate or topcoat.

  • Precautions

    • Ensure proper ventilation and exhaust during application. Keep away from open flames and wear protective gear such as masks and gloves. Maintain appropriate ventilation during curing.
    • Mix the base thoroughly before adding the curing agent in the correct proportion. Adjust the amount of thinner based on temperature changes. Stir thoroughly and allow for maturation. It is recommended to filter through a 120-mesh screen and continue stirring during use.
    • Adding excessive thinner will reduce anti-sag properties. Ensure that the thinner usage complies with environmental regulations. This product is only suitable for use on sandblasted steel surfaces and approved epoxy zinc powder or inorganic zinc silicate coatings. It should not be applied over other types of coatings. It should also not be overcoated with alkyd or alkyd-modified coatings.
    • The substrate temperature must be above 5°C and at least 3°C above the dew point. The relative humidity must not exceed 85%.
    • Cutting or welding structures coated with this product will generate fumes. Proper protective measures are necessary.
    • This product is not suitable for underwater applications.
    • Avoid dry spraying or applying excessive thickness. "Dry-sprayed" coatings may develop pinholes when overcoated. Excessive thickness will increase curing, handling, and recoating time. The coating thickness must match the surface roughness. Rough surfaces should not be coated with a thin film, and excessive thickness should be avoided.
    • When operations are paused, do not leave the paint in spray lines, guns, or equipment. Use thinner to clean all equipment. If the pause is long, it is recommended to mix a new batch of paint for continued application.
    • Clean all equipment immediately after use with thinner. Regularly cleaning spray equipment is a good practice. The frequency of cleaning depends on the spraying volume, temperature, and interruption time.
    • Leftover paint and empty containers should be disposed of according to local regulations.
  • Packaging

Each set: 42 kg (Base 40 kg, Curing agent 2 kg)
    Each set: 15 L (Base 12.8 L, Curing agent 2.2 L)

  • Storage

Store in a sealed, ventilated, cool, dry place, away from flames. Shelf life: minimum 12 months.

  • Safety Precautions

    • The paint and recommended thinners should be handled according to the safety data sheets. This is a solvent-based coating, so avoid inhaling mist or solvents, and minimize skin and eye exposure. Avoid contact with wet paint.
    • All work involving the application and use of this product must comply with national health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
    • If welding or flame cutting is needed on metal surfaces coated with this product, dust and fumes will be generated. Proper personal protective equipment and local ventilation are required.

  • Market Potential and Business Opportunities Analys

    Market Overview

    • Latin America:

      • Demand for Anti-Corrosion and Fire-Resistant Coatings: Latin America has seen significant growth in industrialization, infrastructure projects, and the petrochemical sector. Countries like Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina are investing heavily in sectors that require effective corrosion protection for steel structures, such as bridges, power plants, and chemical facilities. The harsh environments in these industries make the need for fire-resistant, durable coatings critical.
      • Growing Infrastructure: Latin American countries are focused on upgrading and expanding their infrastructure, particularly in urban areas and transportation networks. This creates an opportunity for high-performance coatings for steel, concrete, and other substrates in construction, roadways, and public facilities.
      • Environmental Regulations: Increased environmental consciousness and regulations, such as the requirement for low-VOC and eco-friendly products, provide an opportunity for products like the Epoxy Zinc Powder Coating, which meets environmental standards.
    • Arab Countries:

      • Construction and Industrial Growth: The Middle East, especially countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, are experiencing rapid growth in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure construction. The demand for fire-resistant, anti-corrosive coatings for steel structures is high due to extreme environmental conditions (heat, humidity) and major construction projects (e.g., bridges, stadiums, airports).
      • Oil & Gas Industry: The petrochemical, oil, and gas industries in the Arab region are key drivers of demand for coatings that can withstand corrosive and high-temperature environments.
      • Standards Compliance: Products that meet local and international safety standards for corrosion protection (especially in offshore and industrial settings) will be particularly attractive in these markets.
    • Africa:
