Surface Preparation
All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Prior to coating, all surfaces should be assessed and treated according to ISO 8504:2000 standards. This product should be applied over the recommended rust-proof primer or intermediate coat, and must be applied within the specified re-coating interval. The primer or intermediate coat surface should be dry and free of contaminants.
When applying over old coatings, appropriate methods should be used to clean the powdery layers, grease, and other contaminants from the surface.
For areas with cracking, damage, or other imperfections, the substrate should be treated to Sa2½ or St3 grade. After repairing the primer, the product can be applied.Precautions
- Ensure proper ventilation, exhaust, and avoid open flames during application. Wear protective gear such as masks and gloves. Adequate ventilation should also be maintained during curing.
- When mixing the paint, first stir the base thoroughly, then add the curing agent according to the specified ratio and mix well. Adjust the amount of thinner depending on the temperature and application requirements. Stir thoroughly and allow it to mature.
- Excessive thinning can reduce sag resistance and slow down curing.
- Applying the product too thickly can severely affect drying, curing, re-coating performance, and handling time.
- For long-term exposure of the product’s coating, before re-coating, ensure the old paint film surface is free of contaminants and sand the surface before applying subsequent coatings.
- When brushing or rolling, high film thickness and good continuity cannot be obtained in a single pass, so multiple coats are required.
- For vivid, non-chromic red or yellow pigments, multiple coats may be needed when applied over dark primers for good coverage. It is recommended to use light-colored primers or intermediate coatings with these colors.
- The substrate temperature must be above 5°C and at least 3°C above the dew point, and the relative humidity must not exceed 85%.
- Cutting or flame cutting structures coated with this product generates fumes, so appropriate protection measures should be in place.
- During breaks in work, do not leave the paint in spray lines, guns, or equipment. Use thinner to thoroughly clean all equipment. If the work break is too long, it is recommended to remix a fresh batch of paint.
- After use, all equipment should be immediately cleaned with thinner. Regularly cleaning spray equipment during work is a good practice. The cleaning frequency depends on the spraying volume, temperature, spraying time, and interruption time.
- Leftover paint and empty containers must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Storage & Safety Precautions
- The paint and recommended thinners must be handled according to the safety data sheets. This is a solvent-based coating, so avoid inhaling mist and solvents, and minimize skin and eye exposure. Avoid contact with wet paint.
- All work related to the application and use of this product must comply with national health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
- If welding or flame cutting is required on metal surfaces coated with this product, dust and fumes will be generated. Appropriate personal protective equipment and adequate local ventilation measures are required.
- If there are any doubts about the suitability of this product, please consult the company.

Market Opportunities and Potential for Distributor
Market Potential Overview
-
Latin America:
- Industrial Growth and Infrastructure Development: Latin American countries like Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina are seeing increasing demand for infrastructure and industrial development. In particular, the construction of bridges, power plants, chemical plants, and the oil and gas sector all require durable, corrosion-resistant coatings for steel structures. This makes the product highly relevant for these markets.
- Coastal and Harsh Environments: Many regions in Latin America, especially near coastal areas, face high humidity and salt exposure. The product’s high weather resistance and corrosion protection, along with its ability to withstand harsh conditions, make it ideal for these regions.
- Environmental Regulations: As Latin American countries continue to introduce stricter environmental regulations (such as VOC emissions limits), this product’s low VOC content and long-term durability give it a competitive advantage over traditional coatings.
-
Arab Countries:
- Boom in Construction and Infrastructure: The rapid growth of the construction and infrastructure sectors in countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, driven by mega-projects such as airports, bridges, stadiums, and skyscrapers, creates a strong demand for high-performance coatings.
