  • Application Methods

    • Coating Methods:

Method Thinner Dilution Rate Nozzle Diameter Spray Pressure
      Airless Spraying X-14 0–10% (by weight) ~0.4–0.5mm 15–20Mpa
      Air Spraying X-14 30–50% (by weight) ~1.8–2.5mm 0.3–0.5Mpa
      Roller/Brush X-14 0–20% (by weight)

      Drying Time:

Substrate Temp. Touch Dry Hard Dry Bake (60℃) Recoating Interval
      23℃ 6 hours 48 hours ≤45 minutes Min: 2 hours; Max: 7 days

      Surface Preparation:
Proper surface preparation is critical for corrosion resistance. The treated surface must meet the following criteria:

    • Remove dust, oil, and other contaminants. Weld splatter, sharp edges, and burrs should also be removed or rounded off.
    • Eliminate rust, oxide scales, old paint, and residue. For sandblasting, the surface should meet Sa2.5 level; for manual grinding, it should meet St3 level. Apply primer within 4 hours of rust removal.
    • Coating Requirements:

      • Application Conditions:

      • Surface Conditions: Ensure the steel surface, temperature, and atmospheric conditions are suitable for heavy-duty coatings. Coating is typically carried out when the relative humidity is below 85%. Avoid coating in wet conditions or after exposure to rain/snow.
      • Temperature: The steel temperature must be at least 3℃ above the dew point to prevent condensation.
      • Environmental Temperature: Ideal range is 10–35℃. Avoid applying at freezing or sub-freezing temperatures as it may cause surface condensation or freezing, affecting adhesion and curing. Do not coat surfaces below 10℃ or above 40℃.
      •
      • Overlap connections must use the same primer, with a minimum overlap length of 100mm.
    • Ensure uniform coating without missing areas. At 23℃ or above, recoating can proceed after the primer is touch-dry (minimum 4 hours). Longer intervals may reduce interlayer adhesion.
  • Packaging and Storage:

    • Packaging: 20kg/set (bucket)
    • Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated indoor environment. At 23℃, the storage period is 3 months. Higher temperatures may reduce the storage period. Products beyond the storage period must pass inspection before use.

    Safety Precautions:

    • Strictly implement preventive measures to avoid accidents during application. Ensure adequate personal protection for workers.
    • Keep all ignition sources away from the paint and work area. Ensure proper ventilation; use forced ventilation in poorly ventilated spaces.
    • Operators must wear protective equipment to prevent inhalation of paint mist or contact with skin and eyes.
    • If paint splashes on skin, wash immediately with soap and water. For eye exposure, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
    • In case of fire, do not use water to extinguish flames. Use foam, CO₂, or dry powder extinguishers.
