Clinical Significance: Carbohydrate antigen CA125 is a tumor marker for various cancers including epithelial ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, fallopian tube cancer, and lung cancer. The cutoff value is generally 35 KU/L. In patients with ovarian cancer, lung cancer, cervical cancer, and other cancers, this marker is significantly elevated. In 95% of healthy adult women, CA125 levels are ≤35 U/ml.
