PLA/PBAT MLX-10303

PLA/PBAT MLX-10303 is a film-grade alloy material that is semi-transparent, has relatively good mechanical properties, and is fully degradable. It is suitable for the film-blowing process to produce film materials. PLA has high strength but poor toughness, impact resistance, and tear resistance. On the other hand, PBAT, an aromatic copolyester, has excellent flexibility and film-forming properties but low strength and modulus.

 

By combining these two materials into a blend, their properties can complement each other. Thanks to PBAT's good film-forming properties, this alloy material can replace traditional high-density polyethylene film materials, such as shopping bags, cling films, and agricultural films.
