TL-32006 Polymer (PVC) Resin Waterproof Sheet
Product Overview
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Homogeneous Sheet Waterproofing is a high polymer waterproof material made from PVC resin, with added plasticizers, anti-aging agents, stabilizers, UV absorbers, lubricants, fillers, and other processing aids.
Product Features
- Superior aging resistance, 25-year lifespan on roofs, over 50 years underground
- High tensile strength, good elongation, minimal thermal dimensional change
- Excellent plasticity for easy, reliable detail work
- Good root penetration resistance, suitable for planting roofs
- Secure hot-air welded seams
- Maintains flexibility at low temperatures (-25°C)
- Flame retardant, self-extinguishing
- Reflects sunlight, absorbs less heat
- Smooth surface, colorfast, stain-resistant
Application Range
- Waterproofing for various industrial and civil building roofs, including planting, concrete flat roofs, sloped roofs, lightweight steel roofs, and non-exposed roofs
- Waterproofing for subways, road and railway tunnels, bridges, defense engineering, etc.
- Waterproofing for large grain silos, prefabrication yards, landfills, artificial lakes, and various municipal engineering applications
Construction Requirements
- Smooth, clean substrate, free of sand, bulges, voids, and undulations, with less than 9% moisture content
- Rounded or chamfered corners at angles or embedded parts
- Completed substrate inspection
Construction Process
- Clean the substrate → Align and trial lay → Reinforce nodes → Lay PVC waterproof sheet → Hot-air welding → Inspect and trim → Organize acceptance
Waterproof Sheet Installation Steps
- Clean and level the substrate
- Lay the PVC waterproof sheet as per the control lines, ensuring it is flat and straight with overlaps ≥80mm
- Weld the overlaps using a welding machine, and perform an air pressure test for double weld seams
- Repair nodes by welding appropriate sheet pieces onto the main sheet
- Secure sheet terminations with pressure strips and sealant
- Follow detail node treatments as per National Standard Atlas 16CJ23-3
Precautions
- Construction temperature above -5°C
- Secure temporary fixes before daily construction ends
- Prevent cross-construction by completing the preceding process before starting waterproofing
- Store products on flat, non-waterlogged ground, stacked no higher than four rolls, and covered with opaque material
- Ensure well-ventilated storage areas, strictly prohibiting smoking, with fire safety measures during transport
- Standard storage period is 12 months from production date
