Construction Instructions
Base Requirements
- Smooth and clean surface, free from sand, hollowing, pinholes, and unevenness.
- Rounded or beveled corners at transitions and embedded parts.
Process Flow
- Clean the base.
- Snap lines and trial layout.
- Reinforce nodes.
- Lay EVA waterproof sheet.
- Hot air welding.
- Inspect and adjust.
- Organize acceptance.
Steps
- Clean and smooth base.
- Lay EVA waterproof sheet along control lines, ensuring smooth and straight alignment with ≥80mm overlap, staggered short edges by 300mm.
- Weld seams using welding machine, performing air test if double welds are used.
- Repair nodes with suitably cut sheet, using a hand-held welding gun.
- Fix sheet edges with pressure bars and sealant.
- Refer to national standard 16CJ23-3 for node treatment.
Precautions
- Construction temperature above -5°C.
- Ensure construction protection and temporary fixing before end of day.
- Conduct waterproofing layer installation after prior process completion, avoiding cross-construction.
- Store materials on flat, dry ground, stacking no more than four rolls high, covered to prevent exposure.
- Maintain good ventilation at the construction site and storage areas, strictly prohibiting fire.
- Shelf life is 12 months under normal conditions from production date.
