YLK-21003 Continuous strip nickel foam
The base material used is a porous, open-cell sponge. A conductive layer is prepared using the vacuum physical vapor deposition (PVD) method. After pre-plating, nickel can be electroplated to meet specific requirements in a nickel sulfate electrolyte solution. Subsequent processes include burning, reduction, cooling, rolling, and slitting to produce high-performance continuous strip nickel foam material.
Features/Advantages:
- Due to its excellent performance and large specific surface area, continuous strip nickel foam is widely used as a battery current collector material. It serves as the electrode plate material for rechargeable batteries, primarily applied in consumer NiMH, NiCd batteries, vehicle power batteries, super nickel batteries, energy storage batteries (such as nickel-zinc batteries, nickel-hydrogen air batteries, zinc-iron flow batteries, supercapacitor batteries), metal-air batteries, and hydrogen production electrodes.
- Nickel foam can be produced in a wide range of specifications, allowing customers to flexibly select specific sizes for production.
- Nickel foam can be uniquely designed and manufactured according to the customer’s application field and requirements.
- It features a unique ultra-low surface density specification (≤250g), which significantly helps control the cost of battery materials.
- It also offers a unique double-sided density specification, demonstrating excellent performance in batteries with directional winding properties.
